For enrollment you must meet the following requirements
To qualify for enrollment applicants must meet one of the following experience or education criteria:

8610-2 signed off on by the FAA

Ability to obtain an 8610-2 form based on experience.
You must have a minimum of 18 months of practical experience in the maintenance of either airframes or powerplants, or at least 30 months of combined experience working on both concurrently. -

Special Notice
A&P Fastrack is a refresher course for individuals with civil, airline, manufacturing, FAA approved repair station, or military documented evidence of 18/30 months practical experience. All others require either Transcripts, a graduation certificate or certificate of completion from a certificated aviation maintenance technician school. Qualification questions should be directed to your local FAA Flight Standards District Office (FSDO) or the International Field Office (IFO) for your area.
